By downloading, installing, or using the RTKKit app (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
RTKKit is a contractor layout, machine-guidance, and field-stake helper. It can georeference a plot-plan PDF and show approximate stake and grade locations from GPS/GNSS and RTK data you supply.
It is not a substitute for a licensed professional land surveyor. It is not a survey of record. It is not a legal description of a boundary. Do not use it to set legal property lines, to prepare a record survey, or to replace a licensed surveyor.
Positions, elevations, offsets, cut/fill, and stake marks in the App are estimates only. We do not warrant that any number is accurate, complete, or fit for construction.
RTK and GNSS results depend on things we do not control, including correction-stream quality, your NTRIP caster, rover setup and calibration, antenna height, geoid or elevation model, satellite geometry, atmosphere, multipath, and the operator.
Elevations may use a NOAA geoid model and Open-Topo-Data. Map tiles may come from Google or Apple. Those sources are provided as-is. We do not certify them.

You assume all risk of using the App. Before any cut, fill, excavation, pour, or other physical work, you must field-verify every location and grade with a method appropriate to the job, and you must use a licensed professional surveyor where the law or the job requires one.
Stout Gear LLC is not responsible for construction error, rework, boundary disputes, failed inspections, delay, property damage, injury, or lost money.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stout Gear LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profit, rework, or downtime.
Our total liability for direct damages is limited to $100 or the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.
This cap and these exclusions apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some states do not allow certain limitations. If those laws apply to you, some of this section may not apply.
If you use the App to mark a legal boundary, to produce a survey of record, or as a substitute for a licensed surveyor, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stout Gear LLC and its owners from claims, costs, and damages that come from that use, including claims by owners, contractors, and government bodies.
You also agree to indemnify Stout Gear LLC from claims that come from your use of the App or from your failure to field-verify before physical work.
NOAA geoid models, Open-Topo-Data elevations, Google Maps, Apple Maps, and any NTRIP caster you choose are third-party services. We do not operate them. We provide no warranty that their data is accurate or available. Your use of those services is at your own risk and is subject to their terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds a part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
